I don’t normally paint landscapes, but I went to an art show at Angell Gallery in Toronto recently and was totally inspired by what I saw.
I just loved the bright colours and drippy paint; I thought it was such a modern, yet post-apocalyptic, approach to a landscape.
So, as a little painting experiment, I painted a landscape inspired by John Kennedy’s gorgeous paintings.
Very flattering, thank you. Don’t be afraid to ramp it up abit…I feel like your trying to be too cautious in your approach/application. Painting is an emotional response, not a chore. Keep up the good work.
