MUA and Painter
So this was my second year at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
I love meeting people who work in the fitness industry and network!
I did makeup for lots of girls at the Arnold; assisted at a couple of photo shoots, got to walk around the expo and attended some VIP parties…
At the Dymatize VIP party, I met Brock Lesnar of the UFC. I got a pic with him and he signed it for me…it reads, “Valeria, you smell tasty.” I’m hoping he’s referring to my perfume! LMAO! 
I got Paul Buceta to take a photo of Lori’s painting…
and I couldn’t resist jumping in a shot!
Last week, Michele Levesque came in from Montreal to shoot at our studio…
Michele has been featured in American Curves and Oxygen, but this was the first time I had the chance to do her makeup!
Once the makeup was done, Michelle made sure Paul shot her so good that she ends up on the cover of Oxygen…hahahaha ;)
Here I am, adjusting her hair, when we simultaneously decide to wow the camera with jazzy hands and fancy smiles! LOL.
I love this shot…too bad I’m so pale compared to Michele that I look like a ghost wearing a wig! Don’t argue, I blend right into the background – Hahahaha!
I just did makeup and hair for Allure’s new lingerie catalog. It was so much fun ‘cuz they bring SO many cute lil’ outfits for the models!

Paul and I flew down to L.A to shoot the twins (Hef’s girlfriends at the time) and Mandy Blank doing a sexy workout.
What an opportunity! I couldn’t believe that we were going to THE playboy mansion…

I was on set at a Coquette lingerie shoot and couldn’t resist a pic with Rachelle Corbiel. Mainly ‘cuz she was decked out in a hot pink lacy lil’ number ;)

When I do makeup for American Curves, I get to really play with colour and lashes for the ultimate glam looks. Glamour makeup rocks!

I met Rachel when I did her makeup and hair for a test shoot with Paul Buceta. We really hit off. She’s such a sweet girl.

I had the pleasure of working with Fran Dennis for an Oxygen spread…
A couple of years ago, I remember reading an Oxygen magazine with Fran on the cover. I thought to myself, “I can’t believe this woman has 6 kids!” I mean if she can have abs after multiple pregnancies, what’s my excuse? lol.
She’s stunning and a true inspiration.
Dude. I love reading this magazine. Seriously.
I have to pinch myself ‘cuz its such a dream to be working behind-the-scenes – doing makeup on the same fitness models whose pics I had taped to my fridge for inspiration. Cool, eh?
After weeks of letting summer get in the way of computer stuff, I’m finally ready to settle down and hook up the goods from in and around the studio!
So…I’m busy…

Today was my first time doing Tosca Reno’s makeup. Ummm, can you say nervous?
However, not only was the shoot awesome, but Tosca loved what the Nova brought! Yep, I do killer makeup
I work with the greatest photographer EVER.
I came to work today to find a box on my makeup table…and inside was a brand new camera!
Paul Buceta got me a camera to inspire me to document my day-to-day life and blog more…
The first picture on the camera was a total blooper…but the second one’s pretty alright
I think he has one hand in his pocket….’cuz the second one’s giving a peace sign. LOL
